ADULT & TEEN COUNSELLING
Sessions currently available
ADULTS
Whilst there are many reasons an adult may seek counselling, I have seen how offering an empathetic, honest and non-judgemental space to explore your challenges benefits all clients. As the therapeutic relationship progresses, a more collaborative and tailored approach is found to suit your needs. This may involve finding coping strategies, exploring relationships and/or your personal history. This will all be approached a pace and depth comfortable for you.
TEENS 16+
For a variety of reasons many teens feel under a tremendous amount of pressure and can find themselves struggling to cope with day to day life. This can result in issues with relationships, anger, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts, disordered eating and school attendance to name a few. Being able to talk to someone in confidence with no agenda, no judgement and allowing them to find their own coping strategies and solutions can be very effective.
SEN/NEURODIVERSITY
Experienced with working with neuro diverse teens and those with SEN challenges such as ADD, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and ODD I understand that often a different, more directive approach than traditional counselling methods is required. I am passionate about working with parents/guardians of SEN children who are struggling with the mental and physical demands this can sometimes involve.
